CORTEX SOLID HEADS
Cortex offers a wide variety of conical chipping heads designed for various applications - from large log hardwood mills with slabbers, to sharp chains and curve saws. Heads are designed based on operational input from the customer.
CONVERSION BRAND A
Cortex provides an upgrade to existing Brand A heads with Cortex facing knife and long knife kits. Proven longer knife life in a variety of species. Big time savings – over 40% on wear parts in many cases!

CONVERSION BRAND L

Performance Results: The sharp chain has (2) 6 Knife heads (6 facing knives and 12 long knives). Cortex was installed on both heads to compare the knife life from the previous system.
